Office 2007 Filter Packs available for download

Microsoft has released an updated version of the 2007 Microsoft Office System Converter - Microsoft Filter Pack which are used by Microsoft Search products to index the contents of specific document formats.

The latest version is available for download at Microsoft Download Center:

• 2007 Office System Converter - Microsoft Filter Pack
  Download x86 Version => FilterPackx86.exe
  Download x64 Version => FilterPackx64.exe

This download will install and register IFilters with the Microsoft Windows Indexing Service. These IFilters are used by Microsoft Search products to index the contents of specific document formats.

This Filter Pack includes IFilters for the following formats: .docx, .docm, .pptx, .pptm, .xlsx, .xlsm, .xlsb, .zip, .one, .vdx, .vsd, .vss, .vst, .vdx, .vsx, and .vtx. To register these IFilters with a specific Search product, please see the associated KB article below:
